The agriculture industry in the UK is entering a new phase, with consumers placing increasing importance on the quality of farm production, and modern systems being focused on improving animal welfare and the environmental footprint.
If you enjoy working outside, and find the variety involved in farm work livestock, crops and machinery—appealing, then you might wish to consider a course in Agriculture. Learning is set within our 200-hectare working farm, Rodway Farm in Cannington in the South West, which provides an excellent teaching resource for both livestock and fieldwork.
Students’ access to these exemplar resources are continuously maximised, with daily access provided through timetabled teaching, together with practical farm duties which take place throughout the year.
