Our Childcare Centre offers nursery care to children aged four months to five years and has purpose built accommodation, with a secure outdoor area boasting an ‘inspirational garden’, where children are encouraged to explore both indoor and outdoor learning.
The College's last Ofsted inspection received Grade 1 'Outstanding', with excellent teaching and learning. We have been awarded a Beacon Award for our links with the Childcare Centre, links that allow us to connect theory and practice on all our courses, including the opportunity to experience Forest School.

Our open plan nursery and inspirational garden provide children with the perfect environment to learn and develop, allowing students studying Early Years to observe and learn in a realistic setting.

What our students say
“Working while studying has given me a new level of independence. I get to put into practice what I learn in the classroom in my working environment. The support I received was brilliant, being able to access support and guidance remotely and receive first hand advice about the different careers and jobs accessible to me.”
Nicole has recently completed the Early Years Foundation Degree and is going on to the Early Years Care and Education BA (Hons) Top-up at the College.
“I wanted to become a teacher so decided to return to education, pursue a career change and develop my skills to boost my chances when competing for jobs. My Foundation Degree gave me the confidence and knowledge to secure a job as a specialist educational needs worker and has also helped me whilst studying for my degree. I hope to progress to a PGCE or EYT in the future to achieve my career goal.”
Suzanne completed the Early Years Care and Education BA (Hons) Top-up Degree and is currently working at a local primary school.
