What our students say

Music & Performing Arts Student Zak Bond

Zak Bond

After visiting a range of universities I discovered the facilities at Bridgwater were comparable to larger establishments. Whilst on the course I have produced music in a studio and worked with industry practitioners in establishments such as Bristol’s Colston Hall. I now plan to qualify myself further with focused courses on industry standard software and develop my web and app design and general audio programming skills by developing commercial sites for a range of companies.”

Zak completed the Music Production Foundation Degree and has set up his own business hiring PA systems.

Music & Performing Arts Student Marc Matthews

Marc Matthews

Being able to study locally was crucial for me as I could live at home, work part-time and avoid getting into too much debt while studying! I have always been interested in music and play guitar in a band; this course has definitely reinforced my love of music. The facilities are exceptional and mirror those used in the music industry particularly, the recording studios and the Mac Suite.”

Marc Matthews is studying the Foundation Degree in Creative Audio Technology and intends to progress onto university and study a BSc (Hons) top-up.
