There are over 100,000 jobs in the UK involving the handling and supervision of small domestic animals, horses, exotic species and farm or zoo animals.

Our own Equine Centre, farm animals, and a large collection of domestic and exotic animals help provide a real hands-on experience for all our courses. We have established an extensive work placement network within the industry. If you have a genuine interest for the care and welfare of animals then we have a course for you.

The Animal Management Centre provides a state-of-the-art setting for studying animal welfare, with large theory and practical rooms and housing for an extensive animal collection. Our students also have access to our award winning Rodway Farm and Equestrian Centre to further enhance their experience.

What our students say

Animal Management and Conservation, Vet Nursing, Dog Grooming Student Tracy James

Tracy James

I started work as a receptionist in a veterinary practice and my love for dogs encouraged me to enrol on a dog grooming course. The course has provided me with a great deal of confidence and changed my career. I now provide advice to nurses in the practice and work alongside a dog behaviourist; I am also hoping to set up my own grooming business later in the year.”

Tracy has studied the Level 2 and 3 in Dog Grooming which has helped increase her confidence, change her job role and the desire to set up her own business.
