Bridgwater & Taunton College has developed a comprehensive facilities management training offer which will equip businesses and their workforce with the multi-disciplined skills, behaviours and competencies required to deliver an excellent standard of customer service across both hard and soft facilities management contracts.

At Bridgwater & Taunton College, we understand the importance of supporting theory classes of underpinning knowledge with practical competency training, giving students a valuable and realistic understanding of the real working world.

Skills qualifications are now mandatory for many maintenance jobs performed within the hard facilities management sector and are best practice to ensure effective and professional services delivery. Our courses will prepare new entrants for the world of work and upskill existing staff allowing individuals and businesses to demonstrate a formal level of competence within the industry.

The College's specialist training facilities allow us to provide instruction not only in the hard facilities management skills, such as multi-skilled disciplines, electrical and plumbing, but also in soft facilities management skills, such as grounds maintenance and cleaning. Our centres are fully equipped to meet the training needs of local and national infrastructure businesses and can provide training across a wide range of qualifications from Apprenticeships to mandatory industry training.
