Travel & Tourism Student Annija Mantaja

Annija Mantaja

The skills, experience and knowledge this course has given me makes me confident that I can work my way up in the travel and tourism industry. My favourite part of studying this course has been visiting Disneyland Paris and taking part in the special workshops they run on the industry. This gave me an insight into areas I could go into once I have finished my course.”

Former pupil of Bridgwater College Academy, Annija hopes to progress to university before starting her career.

Travel & Tourism Student Michelle Parr

Michelle Parr

Through the presentation preparation I did during my College programme, as well as additional visits and qualifications, my confidence grew and I was able to leave College and secure my dream job! Working as an oversees rep means that no two days are the same. Whether I am doing an airport run, guiding an event or giving a welcome presentation, my job is always varied. It is an amazing experience to work within different cultures, facing different situations every day.”

Former pupil of Bridgwater College and Bridgwater College Academy, Michelle is a Holiday Rep for Thomas Cook and has worked in Turkey, Benidorm and Tenerife.
