The British Council has awarded Bridgwater College the Beacon Award for International Student Support, which recognises the commitment of the dedicated staff in providing excellent support at every stage of a student's UK study journey.
The College has a well-established International Student Programme and an excellent track record in providing high quality education and training to students from over 35 different countries, including mainland Europe, Asia, the Gulf, Africa, the USA and South America.

Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport. It will run for seven years, from 2014 to 2020, with organisations invited to apply for funding each year to undertake creative and worthwhile activities. Read more here.
Bridgwater and Surrounding Area
With the Quantock Hills and the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the one side, and miles of rugged coastline to the other, there are many attractions nearby, including the historic cities of Bath and Wells, the mystical town of Glastonbury and numerous charming, country villages.
Despite its essentially rural location, major cities such as London, Birmingham, Oxford and Cardiff are within easy commuting distance of Bridgwater. The College itself is situated a short walking distance from the town’s railway station and three miles from junction 23 of the M5, placing it at the very heart of the UK’s transport system with rapid links to almost anywhere in the UK.
