Ashley Palmer Through to the National Schools Equestrian Association Final - Bridgwater & Taunton College

Congratulations to Engineering student Ashley Palmer, who qualified to compete in the National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) Eventers Challenge Final in both the 90cm and 100cm classes. 

Ashley and his horse Dionita’s Blue qualified for the 90cm class whilst competing as part of the Bridgwater & Taunton College NSEA team at Bicton on 11 February 2017, where he came second as an individual. He then competed again on 25 February 2017 at Moreton in the 100cm class where he won with a double clear in 59.78 seconds, just 0.28 seconds off the optimum time of 60 seconds.

Bridgwater & Taunton College's Equestrian Centre is an approved British Horse Society (BHS) riding school based at the Cannington centre. Facilities include an indoor and outdoor arena, a range of show jumps, fillers, portable cross country fences, two large stable blocks and a variety of well-schooled horses.
