College among the best in the country, says FE Week - Bridgwater & Taunton College

A new set of league tables recently published by FE Week, the premier news service for the further education and skills sector in England, places Bridgwater & Taunton College among the very top colleges in the country.  

In a ground-breaking survey that judged performance on criteria that included customer satisfaction, success at getting learners into work and effective apprenticeship delivery, Bridgwater & Taunton College came joint third out of 213 colleges listed, just two points behind the top-ranked college.

A group of year 8 pupils gain an insight into the construction industry at EDF Energy-sponsored ‘Women into Construction and Engineering’ event at Bridgwater & Taunton College.

This validation from one of the sector’s fiercest ‘watchdogs’ is a real accolade and confirms the sectors confidence in Bridgwater & Taunton College’s sustained outstanding performance.

As Principal Mike Robbins explained,

“It is especially rewarding to receive FE Week’s validation of the work we do to support individuals to enter and progress within employment. Our focus is always to ensure that every student achieves to their potential, regardless of age or level of study, and that the academic and vocational education they receive at the College has a clear line of sight to work.”
