Bullet proof vest donated to Uniformed Public Services programme - Bridgwater & Taunton College

Bridgwater College is dedicated to providing its students with cutting-edge educational experiences, and are constantly looking for ways to improve the quality of the course delivered to its students, which is why they have started working with SafeGuard Armour.

SafeGuard Armour is an international manufacturer and distributor of body armour, who is now working with the College to enhance the student experience. David Cousins, Curriculum Manager for Public Services said,

“Our work with Safeguard will allow us to provide industry information to our students and give them unique insights into the equipment that some of them may be using during their careers.

“As part of our work together, SafeGuard has kindly donated a bullet proof vest to us for use in our Uniformed Public Services programme. It is samples like these that allow us to provide hands-on learning experiences for our students, and these Kevlar vests will give those in our Public Services courses an example of the protective clothing that they may use later in their career.

“These vests will allow us to provide hands-on experiences for our students that can help advance their learning. They will provide the opportunity for role play and a variety of learning experiences that will help improve the quality of our educational programme.”
