The Bridgwater College Student Union arranged a Valentines Disco for students on Foundation Studies programmes and the Catering students produced an amazing buffet to support the event.
The ticket sales and raffle on the night raised an impressive £338.20 and a couple of the students may even have found love!
Shelley Bamsey, Treasurer for Mencap, came to collect the cheque and advised Mencap will use the money raised to support clubs and social events for local people of all ages who have a learning difficulty and/or disability.
