Andy and Megan spoke to second year business students to give them an idea of the employment opportunities available within banking. The experience Andy has behind him allowed the students to truly understand what it would be like to work in the world of banking, but also what the bank would look for in its employees. Both Megan and Andy were able to inform our students of their rise to their chosen profession, Megan also giving the students an idea of how the Level 3 Business Extended Diploma helped prepare her for employment.

Andy also spoke about employability and how the bank look to its employees to provide an excellent customer experience. These skills along with CV writing and interview techniques allowed the students to better understand what different employers look for and how they can improve their own CV’s and interview processes.

Abbie Brogden, Work Placement Coordinator for Business, Management and Computing said,

Now really achieving and doing well in her employment.”
