The Walled Gardens of Cannington donates plants to Blake Museum - Bridgwater & Taunton College

The Walled Gardens of Cannington recently donated plants to Bridgwater’s Blake Museum’s courtyard garden for visitors to enjoy.

The plants, Salvia ‘Hot Lips’, Heuchera ‘Fire Chief’ and Choysia ternata ‘Sundance’ or Mexican orange, were donated due to their hardy qualities and suitability for pots. Volunteer gardeners at the Museum planted the donations.

Jayne Alcock, Grounds and Gardens’ Supervisor said,

“It’s great to work with other attractions in the local area. We think the plants look great in their new home and will be a lovely addition for visitors to the Museum. It was great to meet Shelia, volunteer gardener from the Museum and Pascal the poodle too!”

Victoria Western, Chair of the Friends of Blake Museum said,

“Everyone at Blake Museum would like to thank The Walled Gardens of Cannington tremendously for their very kind donation. The plants for our Museum garden are beautiful, and very much appreciated!”
