The second half dwindled away for Team BC who struggled to maintain possession or create further chances. Petroc equalised once again with 15 minutes left on the clock when Team BC again failed to deal with a long ball through the middle.

Petroc’s number 9 went 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper once again only for Bridgwater keeper Klaudia, to make an excellent save. Acting as covering defender, captain Lucy Stacey was unable to direct the save away from goal.

With 2 minutes remaining, Team BC had a final chance from a corner from the left which was flicked towards goal and bound for the near post, only for a Petroc defender to block the goal with what seemed like a high arm. Despite appeals from Team BC, the referee waved away all protests.
