Charlie dreams of making the 2020 Olympics - Bridgwater & Taunton College

A Bridgwater College student is one step closer to his dreams of competing at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo after being selected as one of only eight swimmers to take part in a Japanese swimming project, 3TP.

Charlie Attwood was selected by British Swimming, as one of eight lucky swimmers to travel to Tokyo to train with the Japanese national squad. The programme aims to improve the medal prospects of British swimmers at the Tokyo Olympic Games by introducing the young athletes to experiences and opportunities to ensure they are in their prime by 2020. Charlie has also been selected to swim in Orlando Florida, at the USA Grand Prix this month.
