It just goes to show that any young person with a clear career goal and armed with the determination to succeed can forge a future in this industry. The wider support we offer to Bridgwater College clearly supports all their students however each year we make this award to a particular student who shows qualities making them particularly employable.”

Jack Simmons was delighted with the award he said,

“It's fantastic that my efforts have been noticed. I've been at Bridgwater College for two years and in that time I've learnt enough to set up my own business in tree work and landscape maintenance. The award is for £250 which I'll use to buy some kit!”
