A Bridgwater College Accounting Apprentice at Hudson Accountants, Nailsea has passed his AAT Level 3 exams with flying colours.
Kevin Dodd, 23, from Burnham-on-Sea, joined the firm in September 2012 to study for his AAT Level 3 exams at the College, and has now progressed to the next level, which will enable him to become a fully qualified Accounting Technician.
Kevin, formerly of The King Alfred School said,
“I chose to do an Apprenticeship as it meant I could work full-time while studying towards a recognised qualification in my chosen profession. It has enabled me to gain the experience I need to begin my career in accountancy.”

“We are really pleased with the contribution that Kevin has made to the work of our growing business and the way he gets along with our clients. We look forward to taking on another trainee in the future as the practice expands.”
Apprenticeships are training programmes in the workplace, where employees work alongside experienced staff to gain specific skills whilst also receiving training from a training provider, such as Bridgwater College.
