With GCSE results day on 23 August, staff at Bridgwater College are busy preparing for the hundreds of queries they usually receive from concerned GCSE students and their parents.
In addition to the telephone helpline which the College operates at this time of year, it has also introduced a new online chat facility which can be accessed through the College website and enables people to use an instant messaging facility to communicate with Course Enquiries and Admissions staff at the College regarding their results, or any other queries.
Vice Principal and Head of Marketing Andy Berry said,
“We have been running the online chat facility for a few months now and are finding that it is a very popular method of communication. The College phone lines are even busier than usual on GCSE results day, so people are encouraged to engage in online chat with our staff if they can’t get through.”
The helpline and chat facility will open at 9am on Thursday 23 August and will remain open until 4pm on Friday 24 August. Call 01278 441220 or use the live chat facility.
