Who is the course for?
The ATA Senior Panel AOM route is intended for technicians looking to achieve reaccreditation, whose job role involves the repair of vehicles typically involved in accidents or similar incidents.
To satisfy the requirements of reaccreditation, technicians must already hold an NVQ Level 3 or ATA card in the same discipline, which has been achieved in the last 3 years.
What are the assessment methods?
In addition to holding a current Assessed Outcome Module certificate for AOM – 009, (available through the College). This level requires the technician to complete the following practical modules:
- MET - complex
- Welded panel/section MAG/MIG braze/bond/rivet
How long is the course?
We conduct the AOMs over one day.
Are there any additional costs for the course?
The assessment fee includes registration, assessment, certification and hospitality. The College does not charge VAT.
What are the progression options?
Learners may wish to go on to one of our other body repair related short courses such as:
- BSI welding accreditation
- High strength steel awareness
- Aluminium panel repair
