Who is the course for?

The media industry in the UK is a huge and a successful employer, but notoriously competitive to break into. This apprenticeship provides learners with the opportunity to work and train in a media environment to gain skills, develop their professional role and earn whilst doing it.

What does the course involve?

The Creative & Digital Media Framework will see an apprentice working towards a qualification that will stretch their own skills whilst assessing their competency in the workplace. Study will enable them to consider roles in media, the industry structure, technical and professional competencies and the development of those broader skills essential to progressing in this industry.

The qualification can be undertaken in a broad range of media from film and TV, web content and design, interactive production, radio and animation.

Placements/Work Placements

The whole apprenticeship is undertaken in the workplace.

Entry Requirements

Five GCSEs A*- C or 9 - 4 including English, Maths and ICT.

How long is the course?

The Framework can be completed in 18 months to 2 years.

What are the College attendance requirements?

The whole apprenticeship is undertaken in the workplace.

Employment or further study at University such as FdA Media Production at Bridgwater & Taunton College.
