Do you want a short course where you get useful training on how to keep your personal details safe, how to store passwords and how to create settings to limit the availability of websites that you might not want children and young adults viewing? We can help you with the basics and provide support on how to talk to your relatives about keeping themselves safe online.
What does the course involve?
You will learn a variety of topics from making use of security settings on Facebook and other social media sites, using the computer to store passwords, credit card details and other sensitive information and creating firewalls to prevent search engines bringing up websites and content that may well be inappropriate for children and young adults.

One evening – 2 hours and 15 minutes per week
Are there any additional costs for the course?
There are no additional costs for the course and you will be given notes from each session to help you employ various strategies at home. The course costs include a USB pen drive for use on the course.
