Who is the course for?
This course is for smallholders or those looking into get into farm work and keen to learn some basic skills in driving tractors safely.
What does the course involve?
This course will introduce you to a number of different tractors and provide some clear guidance on driving safely across a range of terrains. You will have experience of attaching trailers and other implements and driving with them behind you.

This subsidised course provides the perfect introduction to driving tractors safely and effectively. You will have lots of opportunity to put the theory into practice and receive detailed feedback on progress made.
What are the College attendance requirements?
The days are 7 hours long, 14 hours in total.
Are there any additional costs for the course?
The course cost includes everything you will need. Our biosecurity measures include providing the overalls and wellingtons for you during your time on the farm. Lunch is included. You will need to bring wet weather gear for working out of doors.
