Who is the course for?

This course is ideal for those that have an interest in exploring the sound engineering dynamics at a live event.

What does the course involve?

This one day event will introduce you to the basics of setting up a Public Address system and how you can maximise the equipment to ensure you get the best sound for a live event. 

What makes this course special?

This course will be very practical giving learners the hands-on experience of working with  a PA system over the day to achieve the best possible sound for a live event.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for the course but an understanding and appreciation of music and music technology is beneficial.

How long is the course?

The course is a one-day course

What are the College attendance requirements?

This course will last all day from 9:30am – 5pm.

What are the progression options?

This course could lead on to other music production leisure courses at Bridgwater and Taunton College, including an Introduction to Pro Tools and an Introduction to Ableton Live.

This course could also lead on to a BTEC level 3 Subsidiary or Extended Diploma in Music Production or Music Technology.
