Who is the course for?

You will explore the dynamic visual potential of the human form interpreted through the analytical and expressive use of a wide range of mark making materials. This course is intended for those who have limited experience of the subject and provides the opportunity to work from the clothed and unclothed human figure. You can use this course to support other areas of study or enhance a portfolio for progression.

What does the course involve?

  • Explore and interpret the potential of creative visual representations of the human form
  • Use a range of specialist techniques and processes to develop inventive and imaginative ideas and solutions
  • Gain expert tuition in a friendly, social environment.

What makes this course special?

This course uses a variety of approaches to develop your life drawing skills that may include: analytical observation, drawing from memory, sketching, over drawing. The course will enable you to produce lots of outcomes that can be used for portfolio building, illustration, photographic image-making, animation, printmaking.

How long is the course?

8 weeks.

What are the College attendance requirements?

Wednesdays 6 – 8pm or Saturdays 13.30am - 3.30pm.

On completion of this course you could continue onto other Art & Design courses.
