Who is the course for?
This fun course is for sewers with intermediate sewing skills who wish to begin making beautiful products that are on trend with current vintage styles.
What does the course involve?
Learners will have a range of projects to choose from which include items such as bunting, fabric jewellery, needle books, pin cushions, decorations, book covers, artwork, door stops, toys, cushions and many more exciting textile projects.

There are no formal requirements for this course excepting an enthusiasm for making decorative items using a sewing machine and a willingness to get creative.
What are the assessment methods?
The tutor will provide feedback to help you learn and master each technique. You will be provided with materials to practise techniques before embarking on individual projects.
Are there any additional costs for the course?
Learners are asked to bring any fabrics or trimmings with them that they wish to use, we recommend cottons or other natural fabrics.

We offer a varied range of subsidised fashion and textile short courses to explore in both Bridgwater and Taunton campuses.
