ATA is a voluntary assessment programme for technicians working in the retail motor industry. It has the backing of major vehicle manufacturers, independent repair organisations, insurance organisations and Thatcham. ATA is now seen as the industry standard to meet the BSI Kitemark PAS 125.
All materials and consumables will be provided by the College
Refreshments will be provided by the College
Candidates will need to bring their own protective clothing and footwear
Technicians can bring in their own welding masks if preferred but these can be supplied
What are the assessment methods?
To become an accredited senior panel technician, candidates must pass nine practical assessments and an online knowledge test. Each assessment has an allocated time in which to complete the task.
