Who is the course for?
ATA is a voluntary assessment programme for technicians working in the retail motor industry. It has the backing of major vehicle manufacturers, independent repair organisations, insurance organisations and Thatcham. ATA is now seen as the industry standard to meet the BSI Kitemark PAS 125.
- All materials and consumables will be provided by the College
- Refreshments will be provided by the College
- The candidates will need to bring their own protective clothing and footwear
What are the assessment methods?
To become an accredited Senior MET Technician, candidates must pass a series of practical assessments and an online knowledge test. Each assessment has an allocated time in which to complete the task.
How long is the course?
The assessment is two days.
