Who is the course for?

This is a practical, one day course aimed at under 16s who are still at school or inexperienced in the use of tractors wishing to learn safe vehicle handling of modern agricultural tractors.

  • Manoeuvring with and without trailers
  • Hitching/unhitched trailer equipment
  • Operating hydraulics

What makes this course special?

This course is designed specially to cover the safety aspects for under 16s whom wish to or are operating tractors.  Candidates will be given a full days training with a Bridgwater & Taunton College Certificate of Attendance.

Entry Requirements

13 to 16 years old.

Bridgwater & Taunton College practical assessment.

How long is the course?

One day training to include a practical assessment/observation.

What are the progression options?

NPTC Level 2 Tractor Driving and Related Operations Award (16 years+).

Awarding Body
