“The enrichment programme has been put together in order to encourage all students to be more physically active, especially those that don’t currently take part in any activity. The classes have been designed to cater for all abilities which therefore increase the amount of opportunities open to students. Students shouldn’t be afraid to come along and have a go, either on their own or with a friend.”

“The activities the College has to offer are a great way of getting involved, regardless of your ability or previous experience. Everyone is friendly and it's a great way to meet new people. The clubs are fun and cheap so there's no excuse not to come along!”

“I take part in wheelchair basketball. I wanted to try it because it’s something a bit different and I wouldn’t usually be able to do in my local area. Even though I’m not that good, I enjoy it because it is really fun and a good laugh. It’s a good way to meet new people, students and staff. I always come out of practice with a smile.”
Harriet is currently a cross College Learning Support Assistant.
“I loved wheelchair basketball; I got to socialise people that I wouldn’t have normally met; it’s a great start to the weekend!”
